About the creative

My name is Michael Griffith, a 2007 Advertising Design graduate from the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia. As an aspiring Art Director, most of my creative thinking doesn't necessarily target the subject of "advertising" but more of an "environmental experience.” If you can create a successful campaign that conversates a message with the audience, rather than in their face and telling them something; it's more of a comfortable environment for the audience to experience.
That's why my "thinking outside the box" mentality can be seen throughout my entire creative work. It gives the audience something fun to look at, maybe even putting themselves in the situation to a point that they could relate or interact with. When people see something they think is interesting, they talk about it. And word-of-mouth, in my opinion, is the one of the strongest forms of advertising out there.
I just finished an extended internship program at Arc Worldwide/ Leo Burnett in Chicago, IL. I also did some freelance for a month-long project. I feel I've taken away so much from this experience, which will only benefit my future career as a creative designer. If I sound like an interesting person and you enjoy my creative work or want me to be apart of your creative team, just let me know.
